Think Spring Split Pea Soup



I love split pea soup!  

In a slow cooker…

2 stalks celery chopped
1 large yellow onion chopped
3-4 large carrots peeled and chopped
1 carton of vegetable broth
1 quart of water
2 tablespoons of salt
1 teaspoon of white pepper
1 bag of green split peas

Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until peas are broken down!
