"Creamed" Peas and Carrot Potato Topper!

I love potatoes and they love me back.  They are a healthy source of fiber and potassium.  They are grown in the ground as a plant.. not made in a plant!

I do not use butter, oil or dairy… so potatoes can be a little dry if you are used to slathering them with stuff!

Don't despair… this potato topper is delicious!

Thaw 1 cup frozen peas and carrots at room temp or in the microwave.

In a blender:
1 cup non dairy milk
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 Tsp Wildtree absolutely onion (or regular granulated onion)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp tumeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 cup whole wheat pastry flour (you can use regular flour)

Blend this up and put it in a sauce pan over medium heat…. stir very frequently until bubbling and thick.
Once the mixture is thick and bubbly add the peas and carrots and stir a minute or two so the veggies get warm.

Spoon it over your baked potato and ENJOY

Remember if you are interested in organic preservative spices… you can buy Wildtree from me at www.mywildtree.com/Gerri641661
