Venison Meat Balls


We butcher and grind our own deer.  This leaves us with a very lean ground meat product.
1 pound ground venison
1 egg
1/4 cup olive oil (mix with the meat)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs (no sugar bread)
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Black Pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes if you like some spice

Mix gently and roll into balls

Saute' the balls in olive oil 
Cut a couple cloves of garlic and add to the pan to flavor the oil
remove them when they start to brown.


After I brown them I add a jar of marinara (no sugar added)
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending
on how big the balls are.
